LeeLab Kansei Design 研究室は、人間の感性と行動プロセスを認知的エスノグラフィー理論と融合させ、人間の動作を美しく創造するデザインを目指します。 1990年代に筑波大学で始めた「感性」の構造モデルを科学的に解明する基礎研究から出発して、現在は感性情報学、感性デザイン学を中心に人間と製品・ロボット・環境を繋ぐHCI(Human Computer Interface/Interaction)研究を展開しています。
脳科学、工学、認知科学、生理学、情報学など多様な異分野研究領域との融合研究を基盤にした人間に"思いやり"を与えるデザインを創ります。 オランダのデルフト工大、アイントホーフェン工大、イタリアのミラノ工大、韓国のKAIST、梨花女子大学校などと積極的な研究協力も行っています。
