Liang Yadi graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design from Southwest University and has around five years of experience as a fashion designer.

Through his experience in the design industry, he became aware of a contradiction: while many people continue to purchase new products, they often find it difficult to let go of old items they no longer use. He became interested in exploring the deeper psychological and emotional mechanisms behind thoughts such as “I might need it someday” or “It holds memories.”

Motivated by these observations, he joined Kansei Lab, where he aims to investigate emotional attachment to objects from the perspective of Kansei design.
