After graduating from the University of Tsukuba School of Art and Design with a B.F.A. in Japanese Traditional Painting (Nihonga) in 2023, I decided to pursue my master’s degree in the Graduate School of Comprehensive Human Sciences Informatics Program. As a 2nd year master’s student, I am currently researching the effects of personality on multimodal imagery cognition. I enjoy self-analyzing my own affective reactions towards books, cinema, and art exhibitions, and how they become integrated in my imagination. I plan to delve further into the fascinating world of neuroaesthetics in my Ph.D. research, where I will be focusing on the analysis of neural bases for aesthetic decisions regarding image placement and focal points in the context of academic drawing.
